I love how these two twin headboards were combined to make a king size bed. And the upholstered gold frame is so striking against the royal blue graphic background.
Another headboard made from a hainpainted Venetian daybed (by designer Muffie Faith). Love it!

I also love twin beds - I have them in my guest bedroom - the only problem I have found is to get decent sheets.
i love the photos of twin beds you posted. i have a special place in my heart for them as my twin sister and i used to share a room and of course we had twin beds (weird huh?)
