Look what I saw at....

the Library of Congress! Yep, that's right, last weekend I got outta town for a short trip to Washington D.C., and during my visit to the capital's must-sees, I came across these mosaic floors in the Great Hall of the Library of Congress. They totally brought to mind an amazing hand-knotted rug or vintage wallpaper à la Kelly Wearstler or Florence Broadhurst. I love finding inspiration when you least expect it!

I like the mosaics too...I would like to see the library too...some day...I think few would take the time to observe, and capture.
